Abilr Terms of Service for Technicians (Updated 2025)

Welcome to Abilr. By registering as a technician (freelancer) on our platform, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service, which govern your rights and responsibilities within the Abilr ecosystem.


1. Eligibility and Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to offer services in your location.
  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date personal and professional information.

2. Platform Use and Code of Conduct

  • All job-related communication must occur strictly within the Abilr platform.
  • Sharing personal contact information (e.g., WhatsApp, Telegram, phone numbers, emails) is strictly prohibited and may result in account suspension or removal.
  • Any attempt to bypass platform systems to conduct business outside Abilr will lead to penalties or permanent ban.

3. Proposals and Job Acceptance

  • You may submit proposals in response to open job requests.
  • Clients choose technicians based on merit, availability, reviews, and price — there is no automatic or forced assignment.
  • Upon job assignment, you are contractually bound to complete the work as agreed.

4. Monetization & Payouts

  • A Service Fee of 6.5% is deducted from each successful transaction.
  • The total service fee is disclosed transparently before confirming the transaction.
  • Technicians are paid upon successful job completion and confirmation by the client.
  • Abilr supports Stripe (3.6% + $3 MXN) and SPEI (~1%) as payment processing options.
  • Abilr may withhold payments during disputes or in cases of policy violations.

5. Cancellations and Penalties

  • Cancellations must follow the Cancellation and Refund Policy.
  • Unjustified cancellations, no-shows, or last-minute withdrawals may incur a penalty fee or temporary suspension.
  • Premium/Pro technicians have more flexible cancellation windows.
  • Repeated violations may result in permanent removal from the platform.

6. Dispute Resolution

  • Any issues must be reported through the platform’s Dispute Center.
  • Both parties may present evidence, and Abilr Admin will review communication logs.
  • Admin decisions are binding and based on compliance with platform policies.

7. Quality Standards

  • You agree to uphold professional behavior, respect client time, and deliver services with care and skill.
  • Your profile ratings, certifications, and dispute history affect your visibility and job opportunities.

8. Future Integrations

  • In upcoming versions (V1+), Abilr Academy will offer internal certifications.
  • These certifications will enhance profile trust, impact dispute outcomes, and be required for advanced job categories.
  • These features are not enforced in the current version but will be announced in due course.

9. Account Suspension and Termination

  • You may deactivate your account at any time.
  • Abilr reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of fraud, misconduct, or breach of these Terms.

10. Acceptance

By using the Abilr platform as a technician, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service, including the Monetization Plan, Privacy Policy, Communication Policy, Cancellation Policy, and Dispute Strategy.
